Marbling

Spent some more time marbling. The inks wouldn't blend unfortunately but were good for random patterns that reflected the ones found on fish. I used neon colours which were more accurate to my project, after a few goes when the ink had been blotted. This is a good way of creating papers to work with in drawings.

I also experimented with marbling some Habotai silk as well as 100% cotton crochet.

The result of the marbled crochet was beautiful, a typical feminine prettiness combined with splodges of unexpected colour created an interesting juxtaposition of themes.
