Castle Museum

I visited the museum to look at the decorative arts exhibitions and the fish in the natural history exhibit.

It was good to study the corsages from 1830-50's as well as the 19th century vases and more modern 90's jewellery (see metal colorised brooch below) looking at shape and form. I also found it useful studying the different textures of fish scales -something I will use when refining my drawings and developing embroidery.
